Dunham-Bush ceiling and wall mounted heating products include Radiant Strips, Evolution Radiant Panels and the Evo-Lite system. All three products are suitable for a wide variety of industrial, commercial and institutional applications including hospitals, school classrooms, assembly halls, residential care homes, offices, aircraft hangers, garages, factories and spray booths.

Dunham Strip

Dunham-Bush Radiant Strip is particularly ideal for heating large, open, industrial buildings, for example aircraft hangers, railway locomotive maintenance buildings, bus garages and many types of medium and light factory buildings.

It is generally considered that optimum comfort conditions are achieved when the air temperature is slightly lower than the mean radiant temperature (that which expresses the average temperature of the surrounding objects, acting on a particular point).

The proper applications of Dunham Strip creates a fresh environment by producing a feeling of warmth and comfort at a lower air temperature.

Medium and high temperature pumped hot water are ideal heating media, low temperature hot water is also suitable but due to the increased quantity of Dunham Strip required, compared to that of medium and high temperature systems, it is usually considered to be an uneconomical solution.

Steam may also be used as the heating medium, but due to a lack of control and the complications of grading and trapping long runs, it is seldom utilised unless there are compensating reasons.

Evo-Lite

Dunham-Bush Evo-Lite is a radiant heating panel system for applications where heat-output demand requires a cost-effective solution. Not only is the radiant panel system lightweight, but it is also easy to install.

Evo-Lite radiant panels comprise aluminium alloy sheet finished in durable coating with an extruded aluminium channel bonded to the upper surface. Copper tube (which transports the heating medium) is mechanically located inside the extruded channel with special spring clips. Optional accessories for hanging are supplied loose.

The main element comprises an aluminium sheet panel bonded to an extruded aluminium profile for locating copper tube. LTHW or MTHW carried in the copper tube gives up its heat which is radiated from the aluminium sheet.

Evolution

Evolution radiant panel heating is suitable for a wide range of applications and in particular hospitals and educational buildings. The range consists of one, two, four and six tube panels, in nominal lengths of 600mm to 3000mm, and in various tube configurations.

Where wall space is limited or unavailable, style CG can be integrated within the ceiling grid or style CS can be fitted to the underside of a ceiling. If the ceiling is too high for these applications, style FS can be suspended from drop rods. Style WS can be fitted vertically, at high level on a wall, or at an angle of 30º, by using special brackets.

It is generally considered that in radiant heating applications, optimum comfort conditions are achieved when the air temperature is slightly lower than the mean radiant temperature (that which expresses the average temperature of the surrounding objects, acting on a particular point). The proper application of Evolution radiant panels can achieve these optimum conditions, producing a feeling of warmth and comfort.
