Actuator, Bus Communication, Flow Indicator, Data Logger

Danfoss is leading a revolution in commercial heating and cooling control with the launch of the NovoCon® digital actuator. This multi-functional actuator now makes it possible to connect an HVAC system to the Building Management System (BMS) via Fieldbus – adding advanced levels of hydronic balancing and control, whilst also saving valuable time on site.

The NovoCon® is a 4-in-one solution which combines a digital actuator, flow indicator, BMS communication device and data logger.

Designed for use with the Danfoss AB-QM pressure independent balancing and control valve (PICV), NovoCon® simplifies the installation and commissioning process and gives users access to unique data for maintenance purposes. It also offers remote control of the heating and cooling system from a computer, for example, the ability to flush hundreds of valves with a single mouse click.

Next Generation Ultrasonic Heat Meter

SonoSelect™ sets a whole new standard in heat metering. With a wide range of innovative and unique features, it is simple to install and commission, and delivers continuous high-performance measurements, even under harsh ambient temperature conditions.

One of SonoSelect’s key features is that all its advanced functionality can also be controlled via smartphone using the innovative SonoApp. Complex functions can easily be programmed, and routine adjustments have been made faster to access and simpler to carry out.

Based on precision ultrasonic technology, the new SonoSelect™ heat meter delivers the level of accuracy and reliability to meet the most demanding energy management challenges.

DSE Flex

Bespoke District Heating Substation

Created for optimal system performance, the Danfoss DSE Flex builds the latest technology into the compact substation to provide energy efficiency for indirect heating, domestic hot water, floor heating and air conditioning.

The DSE Flex substation delivers up to three circuits in one substation with the possibility to make combinations between modules if more circuits are required. Its capacity range is up to 550 kW on heating and 590 kW on domestic hot water (determined by temperature level, allowed pressure drop and local regulation).

It has been designed in close co-operation with the district energy community to ensure it reached the primary criteria of high energy efficiency, reliable operation, compact size, long-service life and easy specification, installation and service.

All the components equipped in the substation were especially chosen to meet these criteria and create a compact substation that provides an optimum system performance with a tidy, modern look.

Training & Seminars

Danfoss has created a range of seminars, designed for mechanical engineers, to explain the new technologies, key questions and challenging applications, raised in the design and installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems.

The seminars are designed to be delivered within one hour, at the premises of designers, contractors and other relevant industry partners. They are delivered by our Business Development Managers to ensure they are relevant to the requirements of the audience.

Some of our seminars can count towards your CIBSE CPD requirement.
