Danfoss Heating - Heating Products

Hydronic Heating - Cooling Systems - Danfoss - Radiator

Commercial Radiator Valves

Designed for use in UK heating systems together with Danfoss liquid or gas filled sensors. Danfoss offers a TRV for every application:

  • RA-DV - Pressure independent radiator valve providing automatic system balancing
  • RA-N - Integrated pre-setting allows the commissioning engineer to precisely set the flow rate through the valve
  • RA-FN - valve without pre-setting for pumped 2-pipe systems
  • RA-G - High flow valves for 1-pipe systems

Radiator Thermostats

Danfoss are world leaders in the design and manufacture of radiator thermostats. The RA 2000 sensors are a range of high-performance temperature sensors ideally suited for commercial applications. The temperature sensor uses frictionless bellows charged with a small volume of liquified gas. The RA 2000 range is split into two sub-categories depending on installation requirement:

  • Standard temperature range from 5 to 26°C
  • Low temperature range from 5 to 22°C

All sensors offer functionalities suited for most commercial applications, such as:

  • Anti-theft feature
  • Range locking
  • Range limiting

To meet all installation requirement the RA 2000 is also available with a remote sensor.

Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC)

AB-PM Hydronic Balancing & Control

By using the AB-PM Differential Pressure Control Valve (DPCV), building owners can design and install the base of the heating and cooling system in their building before tenants move in. Installing AB-PM will ensure the building owner a reliable HVAC system and a quick-and-easy design-and-build process.

AB-PM will automatically balance the system. The handover time for the base HVAC system can be very fast as less time is needed for installation and commissioning.

NovoCon® M (AB-QM NovoCon® DN40 to DN100)

NovoCon M is a high accuracy multi-functional fieldbus actuator. Specifically designed for use in combination with the Pressure Independent Control Valve type AB-QM NovoCon in sizes from DN 40 to 100 and used in air handling units (AHUs), chillers and distribution station applications.

  • Hydronic bus actuator: communication standards for (BMS) such as BACnet MS/TP and Modbus RTU.
  • Connected input / output device: Remote operation through Novocon M fieldbus. As a result, with reduced overall installation cable needs and simplified installation, savings are made possible.
  • Flow indicator: Integrated accurate flow metering allows for power measurement and energy calculation.
  • Energy management: NovoCon M advanced measurement algorithms allows for continuous hydronic system improvement.
  • Predictive maintenance: A complete set of remote alarms and warnings are available over fieldbus.

CPD

Training & Seminars

Danfoss have created a range of seminars, designed for mechanical engineers, to explain the new technologies, key questions and challenging applications, raised in the design and installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems.

The seminars are designed to be delivered within one hour, at the premises of designers, contractors and other relevant industry partners. They are delivered by our Business Development Managers to ensure they are relevant to the requirements of the audience.

Some of our seminars can count towards your CIBSE CPD requirement.
