EXPERIENCED. FORWARD THINKING.

Building Energy Management Systems

A Trend Building Energy Management System (BEMS) is the best investment for life-long building performance and energy management. Trend solutions are low risk and provide a fast ROI through energy and resource efficiencies.

Today’s building owners and managers demand a control system that can accommodate regular changes in the use of its buildings. However, these developments must be sustainable, affordable and above all else, remain compliant and resilient.

The BEMS that monitors and controls this built environment needs to offer flexibility and backwards compatibility to maximise the use of existing resources and provide a high quality, fit for purpose environment for its occupiers and services.

Trend has been partnering with building owners for more than 30 years, providing expertise at every stage of a building’s lifecycle; from engineering the right solution to maintaining its effective operation and continuing to optimise performance as occupant requirements change.

Proven

Trend is a major international supplier of Building Energy Management Systems, with a worldwide distribution and support network covering over 50 countries.

The vast majority of Trend products are made to order in the UK, from Trend’s award winning manufacturing site in Horsham, West Sussex.

Trend has always believed it is vital to consider both the immediate and long-term needs of its clients. This is reflected in our product offering, which is not only based on the latest technology and covers the widest possible range of applications, but is also highly reliable, easy-to-use and future proof – factors that help reduce whole life system costs.

Open System Integration

The successor to the pioneering 963 Supervisor, IQ®VISION integrates Trend controllers, third party smart devices and internet protocols into a centralised software platform.

IQ®VISION is designed to manage all sizes of buildings, from single stand-alone sites to enterprise level, giving building owners and managers the ability to identify issues and optimise their systems.

IQ®VISION is a real-time user interface that enables users to get the very best from their BEMS, providing graphical information to standard internet browsers. It delivers a diverse range of useful functions such as centralised data logging, archiving, alarming, master scheduling, trending, system wide database management and integration with enterprise software applications – all of which can be used for highlighting and investigating energy use within buildings.

IQ®VISION is a completely OPEN and extendable platform that is scalable for every application.

Unrivalled Partner Network

Trend’s ability to supply the worldwide market via its extensive and well-established third-party Partner network gives end users the reassurance of knowing that, wherever they are located, a Trend specialist is never far away.

In particular, Trend’s Partner network offers the end customer a genuine choice of supply, which is important not only when a customer first installs a system, but also if the system is later modified, expanded or extended into other buildings.

Trend systems are supplied, engineered and commissioned by our approved global network of Partners who offer specialist services, support and advice at every stage of a building’s lifecycle.
