Panasonic UK - Air to Water Heat Pumps

Aquarea - IntesisHome® - Air to Water Heat Pump - Microgeneration Certification Scheme - MCS

Panasonic has created Aquarea, an innovative new, low-energy system, designed to help you enjoy ideal temperatures and hot water in your home, even with extreme outdoor temperatures. Aquarea cools or heats to ensure maximum comfort. One outdoor unit, which may be reinforced by solar panels, heats the water for home use and for the radiators or radiant floor. The system can also be retrofitted to the central heating system to reduce installation costs.

Panasonic’s Aquarea is the most innovative option for complete retrofits and for new construction. Aquarea is far cleaner, safer, cheaper and environmentally friendly than alternatives using gas, oil and other electrical systems.

  • Aquarea TCap (Total Capacity): A unit designed to keep nominal heating capacities even at temperatures as low as -7°C or -15°C, ensuring there is always enough capacity to heat the home without help from an external boiler.
  • NEW Aquarea HT (High Temperature): A unit suitable for use as a high-efficiency retrofit replacement for gas boilers supplying radiators for heat, providing a highly fuel efficient and cost-effective answer.
  • NEW Aquarea 3/5kW Bi-bloc: A low capacity unit, ideal for highly energy-efficient green homes with a very low heating load. Available in heating only or heating and cooling options.
  • Aquarea 6/9kW Mono-bloc: Perfect for homes where space is at a premium, combining the outdoor and indoor units into one easy-to-install package.
  • NEW Aquarea Pro Series: Bringing the benefits of the Aquarea heat pump range to the commercial and large residential sector

IntesisHome®: An application for use on both smart phones and PCs allowing the user to control their Panasonic Aquarea heating systems from anywhere, allowing for maximum comfort and efficiency.

Panasonic MCS Logo

Panasonic’s extensive Aquarea heat pump range has a total of thirty-two accreditations to date under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) banner. This number continues to rise as Panasonic introduces new models. Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation is determined by compliance with strict guidelines set by the Office of Fair Trading. These dictate that the product must be able to be used as an alternative or to supplement heating and energy systems, helping users to lower their carbon footprint and reduce fossil fuel reliance.
