The Company
HeatProfile Ltd have been designing and
manufacturing space saving, unobtrusive, energy efficient
architectural, radiant heating systems in water or electric form
since 1986, including skirting heating, coving heating
and perimeter heating systems. Our heat emitters, made of
aluminium for ultimate heat transference, are designed to resemble
and replace architectural features such as skirting, coving,
windowsills etc. All HeatProfile water based products are copper
lined throughout, thereby ensuring a long and corrosion free life.
They are environmentally friendly and recyclable and do not resemble
conventional heating. They are strong, yet lightweight and easy to

Radiant Heating Systems
HeatProfile Skirting Heating systems are full
central heating systems, designed to meet the most exacting
requirements and are available in electric or water based form. They
are suitable for all types of buildings and blend with their
surroundings, whether new build or refurbishment, ultra modern,
period or traditional. Easily accessible at all times, they are very
quick to heat up and cool down and require no special site

HeatProfile Skirting Heating has been
successfully installed in a wide variety of buildings, in the
private, commercial and public building sectors, including major
residential developments, self build projects, offices, secure
units, portable buildings, schools, leisure centres, churches and
even narrow boats. Hot Water or Electric Skirting
Heating Systems
The use of skirting heating, instead of
radiators, ensures an even distribution of radiant heat from low
level throughout the whole room, providing a high level of comfort,
minimal air movement, with no cold spots or wasted energy. Less air
movement means less allergen in the air and a healthier environment
in which to live. Heating Systems Composition &
Manufacture
The water based system comprises aluminium
extrusion incorporating 18mm copper lined water channel, functioning
as a one piece heat emitter and fascia. Serrated conduit at rear of
panel for location to mounting brackets (supplied). All panel joints
are made with our own brass and stainless steel PushFit system. The
water system has a far lower water content than an equivalent
radiator system, resulting in lower fuel bills. TRV with remote head
for individual room control. The electric system
is direct acting, comprising aluminium extrusion functioning as a
one piece heat emitter and fascia, incorporating totally enclosed
insulated element and auto reset thermal safety cut out. Terminal
box at each end for connection to mains voltage and / or other
panels. Serrated conduit at rear of panel to house heat resistant
panel wiring and for location to mounting brackets (supplied).

Heating Systems
Ease of installation ensures that HeatProfile
Skirting Heating Systems are less invasive to the fabric of the
building. Panels can be made to follow angles and curves and can be
laid flat under full height glazing or patio doors to eradicate
condensation and downdraughts. They can also be interlocked in
modular form in increments of 140mm for higher outputs in very big
rooms, offices etc. Each room is an independent system, allowing
skirting heating to be “mixed & matched” with other systems, if
required. Heating Systems Finish
Polyester powder coat white. Other colours to
special order or panels may be over painted with radiator paint, to
match new or existing décor. Matching unheated panel available.
Heating Systems Dimensions
Height: 140mm Depth: 25mm. Available in
continuous lengths to 6 metres, minimising joins for a more tailored
appearance. Heating Systems Outputs
Water based system = 170 watts per metre
Electric system single element = 150 watts per element metre, dual
element = 300 watts per element metre (Atriums / rooflights where
touch temperature is not an issue). Other products
