Architectural glazing commercial glazing structural glazing
GR³ International Limited have been
glazing specialists since 1998 in the design, installation and refurbishment
of commercial and architectural glazing.
Our client base includes all the leading UK property management
companies as well as public bodies, government departments, banks
and hotel groups and our project portfolio includes shopping
centres, schools, offices, railway and bus/coach stations as well as
prestige residential buildings.
We provide our glazing services on a nationwide basis from our
Lingfield
Head Office and Regional Offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow
and work as either a specialist Sub-Contractor or on a Principal
Contractor basis on projects that range in value from £5k to £1m. Design & Build
Working with a variety of glazing systems for curtain wall facades,
windows and roofing we provide design glazing solutions that are
contemporary and innovative and yet still cost-effective and
focussed firmly on our clients’ budgets and practical requirements.
From high-rise “floating” facades of frameless glass to more
straightforward patent glazed structures such as glass domes and
glass roof
lights we provide clear, practical advice from the outset and
support for our clients from initial concept to installation and
completion.
Windows and glass doors can be produced to almost any specification and we
use only BS and CWCT certified glass products to ensure that each project
conforms to the latest environmental standards. Refurbishment
The refurbishment works we undertake typically include the complete
replacement of glazing in atria and glass canopies or large-scale window
refurbishment projects. However, we also complete individual glass
changes and seal services to prevent water ingress.
70s and 80s glazing systems are generally of a very high standard
and we can achieve significant improvements in performance either by
replacing original glass with a higher specification glass product or
installing new gaskets and seals.
Scheduled glass maintenance and glass cleaning contracts can also be set up so
performance can be maintained and any areas of degradation
identified and targeted with remedial works before developing into
problems that are more widespread and much more expensive to
resolve. High-Level & Special Operations
We are experts in working at height and in areas that are difficult
to access and our rope technicians can minimise disruption to our
clients’ operations and business by avoiding the need to erect
expensive and unsightly scaffolding.
Furthermore, we frequently work out-of-hours and our experience of
working in high-security environments has led us to develop
procedures for working compactly and causing as little disturbance
as possible to areas adjacent to our works. Health & Safety
Our Health & Safety procedures are constantly reviewed and upgraded
and we are accredited by Constructionline, CHAS and SAFEcontractor. We recognise that leadership is vital for good safety and our
managers have completed the Site Managers Safety Training Scheme so
they can provide the awareness and competence of safe working
practices that ensure we comply with all legislation and
construction industry best practise. In addition, all GR³ Site Operatives are CITB Health & Safety tested
and qualified CSCS cardholders. They all receive training in the
correct use of Safety Harnesses and high-level works are conducted
by GR³ PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers & Manufacturers
Association), IPAF (Industrial Powered Access Federation) and IRATA
(International Rope Access Trade Association) trained technicians
where applicable. All
glazing works are supported by detailed Method Statements and Risk
Assessments and are underwritten by £10million of Public Liability
and £2million of Professional Indemnity insurance cover, as well as
our own long-term guarantees.
