Commercial Glazing
Overview
Glazing Vision offer modern architectural glazing
solutions for glass roofs, walls and floors. Frameless glass designs
for rooflights and conservatories includes dynamic opening of the
frontage and roof structure. All projects undertaken are of a design
and build nature, acting on a specialist sub-contractor or on a
Principle Contractor basis. As an independent company with in-house
facilities Glazing Vision are able to offer numerous glazing systems
and bespoke profiles, offering innovative and cost effective
solutions. Major glazing contracts undertaken include leisure
complexes, schools, offices, railway stations, airports, corporate
buildings, shopping centres and many high quality residential build
projects. Varying in size from £10k to £1m, anywhere in the United
Kingdom. Glass Roofs and Skylights
Frameless glass designs with either glass beam or
metalwork support, flush external surfaces for stylish appearance
and ease of maintenance. Integrated thermally-broken roof vents with
flush glazing and concealed electric operation. Frameless pyramids,
barrel vaults, domes and atriums. Conventional framed Patent glazing
and North light designs also available. We also specialise in a
glass roof maintenance and refurbishment service.
Frameless Glass walls, curtain walling
Glass walls, double or
single glazed with glass fin support or patch fittings to structural
steelwork. Conventional framed options available.
Canopies
Bespoke designs with flush glass designs,
supported from structural glass, tubular steelwork or stainless
steel cables and tie-rods. Flat or curved configurations in both
glass and polycarbonate. The Glazing Vision extrution suite has been
specifically designed for railway canopies where on-site working
times are severely restricted. The shuffle glazed framework offers
speedy assembly for such restricted working, as well as an internal
fixing track for overhead equipment.
Walk on Glass rooflights and floors
Walk on roof lights are available in any bespoke
size with or without the structural support work. Glass options
include a range of solar, opaque and non-slip specifications.
Frameless Conservatories
Discreet glass conservatories have no visible
framework and comprise of glass panels bolted to structural glass
fins. The roof and front sections can be motorised giving an open
air ambience with up to 50% of open air. Roofs can be either glass
or opaque material.
Glass Balustrades
Designs are numerous including a variety of
materials. Framed and frameless, railway platform designs,
polycarbonate and anti-vandal balustrades.
Domes
Glazing Vision design, manufacture and refurbish
bespoke domed rooflights for the Architectural. Although
specialising in high quality glass roofs, polycarbonate dome options
are available for the larger spans. Glass specification options are
available to suit any particular solar, thermal or security
requirement. The dome is hemispherical in shape (curved in both
directions) although a faceted option bespoke option is available
(curved in one plane only).
