Solaglas were formed in 1982 following the merger of two well established glass companies, Clark Eaton and Doulton Glass. Solaglas went on to become part of the Saint-Gobain Group in 1990, enabling it to draw upon the vast global resources of the world’s leading building products companies.
With over 140 years of experience in glass and glazing and with a turnover in excess of £150 million, Solaglas employ around 1,500 people in the UK and are organised into four primary operating divisions.
Solaglas have a nationwide business network supported by a divisional infrastructure. They are organised into four divisions based upon activity and market. For each market there are over 30 local businesses which are regionally responsive and structured to meet the customer demands.
