Cummins offers numerous training courses for both customers & distributors. Training for engineers, operators & technicians is available either on site at your plant or office, at our distributor locations or at our European Headquarters, based in Manston, Ramsgate, Kent. Training courses range from a general overview through to in-depth maintenance and troubleshooting of Cummins products:

Energy Solutions Training

Cummins offers a series of training courses for their Energy Solutions products: natural gas, lean–burn, combined heat and power and low–emissions diesel. Four levels of training are available:

F = Familiarization / U = User (O&M) / T = Technician / Q = Distributor Technician Qualification

On–Site Training Courses

Following successful completion of instructor–led qualification (Q) courses, Cummins offers technicians an opportunity to work on a site with experienced personnel to develop and expand their skills, normally run for one week and be held at a current service or commissioning job site. Although participants must cover their own expenses, no charge is made for this service.

  • Level U: Maintenance and System Orientation - QSK 19G, QSK 60G and QSV 81/91G Operation - 3 days
  • Level T: QSV 81/91 Industrial Gas Controls Troubleshooting and Operation - 5 days

"Home Study" CD–ROM Courses

Cummins offer a range of "Home Study" CD–ROM Courses with duration ranging from 1 hour to 13.5 hours. Course can be purchased through local Cummins distributors and are pre–requisites to many of the instructor–led courses. Prices vary per package.

Sales Application Engineering (SAE) Power Training Courses

Cummins offer Sales Application Engineering Power Training Courses which provide a two day overview for those involved in specifying and designing diesel generator set installations and systems.
