All five Cembrit fibre cement slates are covered by a BRE Global environmental profile certificate of approval and are the only fibre cement slates on GreenBookLive online directory of environmental building products. The factory also operates an environmental management system complying with BS EN 14001:2004. The factory quality management system complies with BS EN 9001:2000.
All five Cembrit fibre cement slates are manufactured to BS EN 492:2012 and are covered by BBA certificate 03/4041 and are approved for use on Birmingham City Council projects. NBS specification clauses H61 and CAD drawings of the most common details are available via our website.
WESTERLAND Slate – Natural looking fibre cement slate with a dressed edge and textured surface available in Welsh blue, blue/black or graphite.
ZEELAND Slate – Blue/black fibre cement slate with textured surface or graphite.
JUTLAND Slate – Jutland is a smooth fibre cement slate with square cut edges available in 3 sizes, including 24x12 inches (600x300mm), 20x10 inches (500x250mm) and 4 colours blue/black, graphite, russet and autumn brown.
MOORLAND Slate – Moorland fibre cement slate has an appearance similar to natural slate, with a smooth surface and authentic dressed edges.
DIAMOND Slate – Single-lap fibre cement slate which creates a ‘retro’ appearance.
All Cembrit natural slates are tested in accordance with BS EN 12326-1:2014 and are supplied in the appropriate thickness for the UK climate. NBS specification clauses H62 and CAD drawings of the most common details are available from our website.
GLENDYNE Slate – Strong, consistent, top quality and a good match for Ffestiniog or other blue/grey British natural slate.
DUQUESA Slate – Top grade smooth, stable, consistent Spanish slate.
CONTESSA Slate – Spanish slate in a variety of standards and quality levels.
ALPINA Slate – Consistent, even grey/green or graphite Brazilian slate.
Welsh/Cumbrian Natural Slate – Traditional UK roofing slate in purple, blue/grey and green shades.
Cladding & Dry Lining Boards
External/Rainscreen Claddings & Lining Boards
CEMBONIT - Class A2 fire rated through coloured rainscreen/external cladding impregnated to resist water staining. Available in 11 colours.
COVER - Class A2 fire rated rainscreen/external cladding with painted surface in 26 options, including bold accent colours.
TRANSPARENT & SOLID - Two, through coloured Class A2 fire rated external cladding ranges in a total of 23 options.
CEMBRIT PB - Baseboard for external render. Ideal for use on external applications such as rendering, brick slips or stone cladding. New flex version available for curved applications such as columns.
CEMWOOD - Fire Class ‘0’ wood effect weatherboard, available pre-coloured in most RAL or other colour system shades or natural grey for on site painting.
CEMPANEL - Class ‘0’ fire rated cement particle board for interior and exterior cladding and lining. Standard 1200mm x 2400mm boards are available in various thicknesses.
CEMBRIT PB - Suitable as backing board in internal wet areas where ceramic tiles will be used as the decorative finish. New flex version for use on curved applications such as plinths and spa features.
MULTI FORCE FR - Class A1 fire rated internal building board for walls, ceilings and floors. Strong, with good sound reduction qualities and easily decorated, Cembrit FR is ideal for high-occupancy buildings with high traffic volumes.
MULTI-PURPOSE - Autoclaved for improved toughness, ideal cut to size for semi-exposed uses such as soffits, partitions or infills.
Cembrit HD - Heavy duty external building board with high impact resistance for agriculture and construction. Can be pressure washed.
Windstopper Extreme - Fire resistant sheathing or partitioning where a 60 minute fire rating is required. Can be left exposed for 12 months.
EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations) – to ISO 14025 are available for all fibre cement slates, Metro external/rainscreen cladding, special performance and Cembrit FR internal/building/lining board.
