Artemide was founded by Ernesto Gismondi & Sergio Mazza in 1960. The ongoing commitment to research and technological innovation, collaboration with the best designers around the world, and continuous communication and advertising have made Artemide one of the world’s best-known and celebrated lighting brands, synonymous with Design, Light and Made In Italy. Artemide Group is a world leader in high end residential and commercial lighting. Located in Milan, the Company operates through a large-scale commercial organisation which takes the form of subsidiary companies and specialised distributors, and boasts a distribution network including monobrand showrooms in the most important cities. Artemide is structured in two business divisions – Design and Architectural.
Boasting elevated luminous flux, excellent colour rendering, energy efficiency and light compact design, Airlite is an innovative range of LED spotlights with exceptional performance and flexibility. Unique minimal dimensions and virtually weightless with 3400 flux lumen output. Die-cast head weight of 450g. Innovative LED thermal management (31W) with a passive heat dissipation system based on a chimney effect. Thin, extremely defined beams thanks to the hybrid optical system and excellent quality of light. Airlite Tunable White can be adjusted from 2900K to 5500K. Airlite Stable White is available in warm white (3000K) and neutral white (4000K) tones. Accessories include elliptical refractor, soft and coloured filters, asymmetric tube, anti-dazzle louvre and adjustable dowsers. Die-cast aluminium body, optical aluminium reflector and polycarbonate lens.
A range of recessed and suspended ceiling mounted luminaires available in 4 diameters (80 mm, 270 mm, 570 mm, 970 mm), using high-output LEDs, Retrofit LEDs, 12V halogen lamps, metal halide and fluorescent sources. Aluminium body is available in different two-coloured versions: beige/white, grey/white, black/orange, black/green and black/blue. Tagora 80 and 270 offer high-output spot light with aluminium optics with 2 beam angles for LED version and 3 for HIT version. Tagora 270 LED uses a proprietary system based on a hybrid combined lens and reflector optic. This system helps to create defined narrow beams using high-powered LED modules of large dimensions. Tagora 570 and 970 come with a PMMA diffuser, offering a comfortable diffused light. LED versions use high-output sources. Monochromatic LED option with warm white (3000K) and neutral white (4000K) tones.
Suspension appliance with sound-absorbing properties, ensured by a peculiar sinusoidal cross-section design of the lower surface and use of a sound-absorbing material. Acoustic efficiency is ensured within a limited space by positioning at approximately one metre above the head of the speaker and listener. A board with a high number of low-voltage LEDs with rotosymmetrical reflectors ensures maximum lighting comfort. Colour temperature of either 3000K or 4000K. Complies with the norms of office activities that involve the use of video-terminals.
Algoritmo becomes an integral element of the architecture. Its sharp lines and minimalist design make it suitable for any architectural environment within commercial and domestic projects, and with multiple installation options, it provides an endless choice of lighting solutions. Algoritmo has no limit and is available as Algoritmo stand-alone and as a modular system with ceiling recessed, wall recessed, ceiling mounted, wall mounted and suspended installations as well as a walk-over ground recessed lighting system – Algoritmo floor.
Cata is an LED projector that comes from careful research for accent lighting – typically for museum applications – but can also be used for retail and hospitality spaces. It features energy efficient light beams that can be either concentrated and defined or warm and diffused. Cata uses an original light beam collimated system with three elements; the body in methacrylate with interchangeable optic, heatsink in extruded aluminium, and a dedicated power feed unit secured with a twist and lock mechanism. The components are common to all versions with both track adaptor and base plate for ceiling mounting. Designed with two power levels, 12.5W and 25W respectively, both with high colour rendition and different colour temperatures, it uses LED arrays with CRI greater than or equal to 90, with no ultraviolet or infrared radiation.
