The company specialises in the supply, installation and maintenance of security and access control systems and benefits from a range of own designed and manufactured electro-mechanical products such as turnstiles, vehicle barriers, gate drives, gate locks, electric releases and solenoid bolts. These are complemented by control equipment such as card readers, proximity readers, PC based systems, enabling enabling it to deliver a complete, tailor-made security solution. With a turnstile, gate or other security access product suitable for virtually every application, the company’s equipment can be found in many football stadiums, cricket grounds, leisure centres, hotels, utility sites, MOD facilities and other major organisations around the world. Installation and Maintenance Clarke Instruments Ltd offers a comprehensive Installation and Maintenance service covering both their own products and access control systems installed by others. Installation All installations of products and systems undertaken by Clarke Instruments Ltd are performed by their own fully trained, skilled engineers thus ensuring that the rigorous quality standards imposed in the design and manufacture are carried through to the completion of the project. Single or Double Tripod Turnstiles for indoor use. Electronically controlled, can link to counter with a free wheel option and optional access control. British designed and manufactured. A full system design installation and maintenance services also available. Electric/Mechanical Gate has 90 degree operation with 1.7 second opening time as usual feature. Emergency breakout facility in both directions with audible alarm and automatic reset. In the event of a power failure, the gate has free opening facility and can be driven open when connected to fire alarm. Push button control as standard. Can be controlled via any access control unit which gives out a volt free contact (supplied separately). Power - 230v mains power supply.
