some 130 years ago, now has production sites and offices across

many key players in the building industry and the main European Post
offices.
DAD UK, opened in 1996 in Kent and is now a
well known and trusted name within the mail delivery solution
industry. They are able to provide both practical and innovative
letter box solutions.
Each DAD mailbox conforms to European Norm
13724 and Quality Control Levels to ensure that each mailbox
produced is of the best standard. Our objective is to ensure that
our mail delivery solutions work in harmony with the architecture
and interior design schemes of developments.
Heavy Duty Mailboxes
Security is a key concern in today’s world
and mailed items are one of the most sensitive. In order to respond
to these needs, the DAD Group has developed a range of mailboxes
that specifically meets security requirements
This heavy duty mailboxes range is the first
of its kind to be introduced in the United Kingdom. The ‘Heavy Duty’
letter box range brings increased features without detracting from
the general appearance and function of the mailbox.
The anti-vandalism features and robustness
of this range of mailboxes make them the most secure on the market
for front delivery and front retrieval applications.
Telescopic Mailboxes
The post boxes in this range are designed to
be built into masonry cavity walls. They can either be installed as
single units or grouped together in multi-tenanted buildings
requiring a collective delivery point.
The body is manufactured from galvanised
steel in a two part telescopic construction, which simply slides out
to suit any wall thickness between 260mm and 500mm. Available in
different overall widths, the units are designed to accept standard
A4 mail.
The front plate is made of aluminium (powder
coated or anodized) or satin stainless steel. Each flap has gasket
seals to ensure water tightness and the aperture is protected by an
antitheft device. The collection doors on the inside are lockable.
Freestanding Mailboxes
In situations where there is not enough wall
space, the wall cavity is not very deep or the mailboxes are simply
required to stand alone, the DAD freestanding post box range
provides a number of well-designed solutions to meet these
requirements.
These can be installed internally or
externally. The wide choice of surrounds and frames allows the units
to be integrated with either the interior or exterior decor of the
building.
The mailboxes and other components can
either be made of electro-galvanised steel with door and flaps in
aluminium or in stainless steel and take standard A4 size mail. The
curved design of the flap enhances the appearance and each flap has
gasket seals to guarantee water-tightness. An internal anti-theft
device is fitted as standard behind the flap and the boxes in this
range have good waterproof features. All mailboxes have a door with
a security lock complete with 2 numbered keys.
Wall Application Post Boxes
In most cases of front delivery and front
retrieval, the mailboxes are mounted onto or flush into the wall.
These mailboxes can be positioned either outside against a wall or
on an internal wall in a lobby area.
These mailboxes are made of
electro-galvanised steel with door and flaps in aluminium or
stainless steel. All mailboxes will take standard A4 size mail. The
curved flap design enhances the appearance and each flap has gasket
seals to ensure water tightness. An internal anti-theft device is
fitted as standard behind the flap and it also has good weatherproof
features. All post boxes have a lockable door with a security lock
complete with 2 numbered keys.
One Piece Front Plate Letter Boxes
This mailbox system is the most appealing
for front delivery and rear retrieval. The front plate mailbox
delivery system can be fitted through a cavity wall, by an entrance
door through a single/double glazing panel or in any frame. Its
one-piece design makes the unit neat and offers the latest
improvements against vandalism.
Made to measure, the front plate is made of
3mm thick aluminium or stainless steel and can be adapted to any
configuration. Each flap has gasket seals to ensure water-tightness.
The mailboxes can be adapted in finishes and
sizes to suit any exterior or interior location and all come with a
lockable inner door (cylinder with 2 keys). An internal anti-theft
device is also fitted as standard behind the flap.
