Mitech is a forward thinking joinery manufacturer established in
1989 by Robert Barlow.
Robert started the business on his own producing
bespoke general joinery items. As he honed his skills in joinery,
working alongside other recognised craftsmen, Robert moved on to the
larger scale manufacturing of products including gates, windows and
general joinery, this entailed moving to larger premises and
employing a team of like minded craftsmen.
Through research and development Mitech are now
producing the finest quality in internal joinery, external joinery
and gates, with new designs every year. Along with these products
Mitech also manufactures high quality fencing and other garden
related products from pergolas to gazebos, arches and arbours.
Mitech try to put one thing above all and that is
quality. We are also committed to providing a personal and flexible
service to all our customers to ensure customer satisfaction to the
highest degree.
We are based at Denby in Derbyshire (England)

The Wilson Serpentine Gate
A very impressive statement for anyone who is
looking for both a stylish look and all round security. There are

The Classic Serpentine
One of our most popular Entrance Gates for style
and privacy.
The Gates can be manufactured to suit both the
size of your driveway and to blend in with the surroundings, be it
Iroko in a classic court yard or Sapele next to a new development.
Our craftsmen can blend any variation to suit
your personal taste and requirements. With our gates there comes a
wide choice of timber varieties from Softwood/Sapele/Iroko and Oak.
The St Mary's Gate
A classic looking village gate that would fit
into any rural location, with a balanced look of timber against
steel. Again we can achieve this in a variety of sizes and timbers.
The Peak Five Bar
A very prestigious gate that would be suitable
for stately park entrances or large period properties. They have
been supplied to National Peak Park Authorities and similar
countryside dwellings.
The Newmarket Five Bar
A good all round traditional gate. Able to span
large gaps, up to thirteen foot per gate. As with all our gates they
are fully mortise and tenon constructed. The bottom rail is of the
same three by four section as the top rail, this is done for
strength and stability and also allows them to be fully automated
using frog motors.
The Paddock Gate
The same use and flexibility as the Newmarket
Five Bar. Being a little plainer in design it can be used where
subtlety is required. Again like the Newmarket it has a solid bottom
rail allowing for strength and the ability to be automated.
The Arched Entry Gate
One of our most popular gate systems. It has a
laminated gentle arch that adds shape and design yet with it not
being a full serpentine arch makes it more affordable. It can be
manufactured in either a single, for your entry or doubles, for your
main entrance.
